The Theatre of Self

One idea. Three gardens. One material.

A central cube establishes a precise order. Its missing inner volume and displaced fragments introduce absence into that order, inviting the visitor to read the gardens of Collegio Borromeo and Horti in Pavia as parts of a connected spatial story.
Garden fragments carry the idea beyond the first garden. Monochrome drawn interventions leave the photographed landscape visible, suggesting places to encounter absence and memory. The wireframe church study relates to Edoardo Tresoldi’s planned interpretation of the archaeological church at Horti.
Installation proposal and garden studies: Denislav Sokolov (Deniz Atasoy). Context: Collegio Borromeo and Horti, Pavia. Planned wireframe church project: Edoardo Tresoldi. Creative framework: Arch. Arne Emerson. Images show proposed interventions.

Architectural drawings, models and visualisations are design representations; project status is stated separately.
Form follows music.
As you move through the space, corridor becomes feminine, you become the masculine.
Invisible light is hidden in d-archness that ego does not seek.
